About Us

StudyUSA Higher Education Consultants Ltd., also known as StudyUSA, was founded in 2014 as a non-profit company registered in Cyprus. It specializes in studies in the United States and is run by Ms. Anna Argyrou, who has over 30 years of experience in this field.

Our services include providing detailed assistance on the U.S. application process through individual consultations and a variety of advising packages. We also work with some universities where the application process is streamlined and we can locate scholarship opportunities for students. Each year, a total amount of funds between 2 and 3 million dollars in scholarships and financial aid is leveraged from US universities to our group of Cypriot students who work with us through one of the advising packets. Please note that there are no guarantees to getting accepted to a university or receiving a scholarship, however, StudyUSA has an excellent track record.

StudyUSA also gives out information on the tests required for studying in the U.S. and can provide information on teachers for these tests. In partnership with Applimates and CIEE (https://www.ciee.org), a U.S. Work and Travel Program, and an Internship program is offered to university students in Cyprus and Greece. Please see https://www.applimates.com for more information.

In a year of uncertainty, with the outspread of the pandemic, in addition to the fact that I had to complete my service in the military, StudyUSA, and especially Ms. Argyrou actively stood by my side daily and ensured that the applications were made appropriately, resulting in making my dream of studying in the US come true.

Being a Senior here at Gannon University, has not only made me grow as an individual, but also as a future professional. Through Gannon, I had the opportunity to meet several professionals in the field of Law Enforcement, from Secret Service agents to ATF and FBI agents. What I find fascinating about the Criminal Justice program here at Gannon, is that our learning does not come from textbooks, but from our professors’ past experiences in the field, since they are all former law enforcement agents. Even after I graduate, Gannon will always be my home. It provided me with so many opportunities, first being a long-lasting education.

There are no words to express my unlimited gratitude to you Anna for everything you have done in the last two years for Eleni to reach success. The professional guidance, support and all the extra time and effort you devoted to Eleni when submitting her applications to universities in the United States of America marked the achievement of the first important goal in her life and made one of her dreams come true.
Mother of Eleni - University of California San Diego, 2023
Since I was a teenager, I always dreamed about studying in the states and living the American dream. Now at 26 years old I made my dream come true. I am currently in my dorm in beautiful Miami and getting ready to start my Masters Degree. Less than a year ago if you would ask me, I would say that the probabilities of me getting accepted in my ideal program, in my ideal city was zero to none. My dream only became reality because of Ms. Anna Argyrou. She has the ability to get things done, in the way that they need to be done, in the time they need to be done. She was there sending me nonstop emails when I was procrastinating, or whether an issue came up and it had to be resolved immediately. She is an expert on what she does and her efficiency is what makes her differ from other people. She is strict when needed but also very sweet and polite. She is your person when it comes to helping aspiring young adults achieve their goals.
