TOEFL

The Test of English as a Foreign Language is an English proficiency examination which U.S. universities and colleges require from international students for undergraduate and graduate admissions. The test determines whether the student applying is ready to pursue a degree program in English and measures the four skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening. Rather than testing only one skill at a time, TOEFL questions test a combination of skills together. For example, students may be asked to read a text and then speak about it. In Cyprus, the TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) is offered at least once per month at three test centers around the island. Students must register in order to take the exam. For details on registration procedures and costs, please download the following documents:
