SAT and SAT Subject Tests

SAT:

The SAT is a standardized test which is only required by some U.S. colleges and universities for undergraduate admissions purposes. The aim of this exam is to determine whether a student is ready to pursue an academic degree program in the U.S. and it consists of three sections: Critical Reading, Mathematics and Analytical Writing, each marked out of 800.  For more information about the test, the content and questions types, please visit: http://sat.collegeboard.org/

SAT Subject Tests:

The SAT Subjects Tests are individual examinations in various subjects such as Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, World History, U.S. History, and Foreign Languages and these exams are generally only required by very competitive universities and colleges in the U.S. Each exam is one hour long and is marked out of 800.
